RWJF Center for Health Policy Doctoral Fellow
Andrea Lopez is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Anthropology and has been a doctoral fellow at the RWJF Center for Health Policy at UNM since 2007. She was recently awarded a 2-year National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) research supplement to conduct her dissertation research in conjunction with a R01 study, “Assessing Patterns of HIV Risk Among IDUs in Neighborhood Environments Over Time,” (PI, Alex Kral) at the Urban Health Program of Research Triangle Institute International in San Francisco.
