A native of Virginia, Ron is a doctoral student in political science. After earning his B.A. in religious studies from the College of William and Mary in 1995, Ron spent much of the next decade in Japan, returning to the United States to earn his M.A. in peace studies from the University of Notre Dame in 2001. His research interests include health inequalities in the United States, universal health care systems, and public health policy. 

Julie is a native New Mexican from Espanola. She is a health communication Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication and Journalism at the University of New Mexico. Her health disparities research experience is grounded in ten years of progressively responsible public health research activities and program evaluation at tribal, state and national levels in community, not for profit and university settings.

Angelina is a doctoral student in political science. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico, graduating summa cum laude in political science. As a scholar of American government Angelina focuses on the relationship between representation of racial and ethnic minorities and public policy.
