Professor Celia Iriart Featured in UNM Today Article

RWJF Doctoral Fellow Angelina Gonzalez-Aller Awarded Prestigious WREI Fellowship in Washington, DC

Angelina Gonzalez-Aller, RWJF Doctoral Fellow and doctoral student in political science, was recently awarded the prestigious Women's Research & Education Institute (WREI) Fellowship. Chosen from a large pool of national applicants, Angelina was selected as a legislative aide for the WREI and will complete this fellowship in WREI's congressional offices in Washington, DC January through August 2013.

Dr. Justina Trott Featured on For Award-Winning Work in Women's Health

Congratulations go out to Dr. Justina Trott, FACP, RWJF Senior Fellow, Clinical Professor of Medicine-Department of Internal Medicine, and Director of Policy, Research and Education at Women's Health Services. Dr. Trott's work in sex and gender medicine and in women’s health policy earned her the Women’s Health Leadership Award from Women’s Health Services earlier in 2012. The award recognizes established leaders who advance excellent skillful care for women and highlights women’s health programs in northern New Mexico.

The AEA Program is co-sponsored by the UNM Department of Economics and the RWJF Center for Health Policy, and during Summer 2012 has hosted talented undergraduates from across the country with a focus on economic research in preparation for studies at the doctoral level.
